The new UFC heavyweight champ: Cain Velasquez

This was one of, if not THE BEST mma fight iv'e ever witnessed! Cain Velasquez walked through Brock Lesnar in a near perfect performance. Instead of gassing out with reckless punching ala Shane Carwin, Velasquez picked his punches beautifully and striked with laser like accuracy. He remained calm through an early bullrush takedown by Lesnar, got back to his feet and proceeded to systematically dismantle Brock with devastating striking. Being from the bay area, it also adds to the awesomeness that Velasquez lives and trains in my hometown. Fucking amazing!!
As i'm typing this the Giants just won the world series. Pretty good week for bay area sports!
